'He sees the pyramids in front of him, illuminated by the moonlight. Santiago falls to his knees and weeps. He notices that where his tears fell, a scarab, or beetle, now scurries through the sand. Santiago knows that in Egypt, this beetle is considered a symbol of God' - The Alchemist.
Perhaps you have read the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho perhaps not, towards the end when Santiago makes it to Egypt I always imagined what that scene must have been like, what the night sky looked like. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine how the wind felt on my face, was it cool was it warm who knows, and the smell maybe dry and cold but fresh like an oasis . This is what I saw, it's psychedelic of course. - Arca9, Portals to the eerie '
